Cho Shin Sung Greets Japanese Fans, September 5, 2008 Japan
Cho Shin Sung which means “Supernova” in Korean, will be holding their first event in Japan. The six member boy band first met their fans in Osaks on the 5th of September and went on meet fans in Shibuya, Tokyo for the event “Six Shooting Stars” yesterday. Surprisingly, the fans requested that one more event be added on to their Shibuya venue. Who knew they even had fans in Japan?
For those of you unfamiliar with the pretty boys, they were the guest KPOP group who were performed at SG Wannabe’s solo concert in Japan. They debuted last September which their song “Hit,” and came out with a comeback song “2008 Love Song Choshinsung.”

Working with T-ara to form a project group isn't the only thing Supernova (Choshinsung) is up to these days. The 6 member boy group released a new Japanese single last week titled "Kimidake Wo Zutto" which got up to #5 on the Oricon Daily Charts, thus showing their efforts to penetrate the Japanese market.
To commemorate their efforts into Japan, Supernova held a special event on September 13th at the Higashi Ikebukuro Sunshine Plaza in Tokyo, Japan. More than 2,000 fans were in attendance and they performed three songs including their new single "Kimidake Wo Zutto." At the event Supernova stated, "We're going to work hard so that one day we can achieve number 1 on the Oricon Charts like TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki has. It's also a goal of ours to perform at the Tokyo Dome one day like TVXQ."

T-ara published their digital single, they did together with Cho Shin Sung, on 15th and are now active with their project single 'TTL (Time To Love)'. Cho Shin Sung published their Japan debut single 'キミだけをずっと'('kimi datte wo zutto') on 9th. The single takes 5th place of the daily oricon charts and 7th of the weekly charts.

Korean idol group Cho Shin Sung successfully wrapped up their concerts in Japan last week, according to a press release by their agency on Wednesday.
The boy band kicked off their Japan tour titled "Xmas Live Tour 2009" with two fan meetings in Osaka on December 20, hosted by Universal Studios Japan and attended by some 1,000 fans. They went on to perform in Nagoya two days later and in Tokyo on Christmas Eve. Each concert reportedly attracted 4,500 fans.
"We were very happy to spend Christmas with our fans," the group was quoted as saying. "We didn't get much sleep over the past month or so and we were exhausted rehearsing for the concert. But as soon as we heard the fans cheering as we went up on stage, all the fatigue we had felt disappeared. We thank you again for giving us so much love."
The group performed numerous songs including Oricon top ten hits "Kimi Dake Wo Zutto", "Hikari", "Superstar Reborn" and other tracks from their latest album "hana", such as "My Destiny", "Feel It" and "Promise". The members even sang Christmas carols and prepared a dance medley routine.

Six member boy band Cho Shin Sung's new album entered Japan's Oricon daily chart at No. 4 on the day of its release, according to the group's agency on Thursday.
Cho Shin Sung's single titled "Last Kiss" placed fourth on the chart Wednesday, trailing immediately behind famed singers YUI, Koda Kumi and Hamasaki Ayumi who held the top three spots, Core Contents media explained in a press release.
"We were worried at first because the song was competing with other singles from famous artists,"an associate from Core Contents Media was quoted as saying. "But we are excited to see that the single is doing great."
The boy band also held hand shaking sessions on the day of the album's release, meeting with some 3,000 fans in various districts throughout Tokyo.
The band had been on tour in cities including Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya last Christmas and this coming Sunday, the group will be performing with Japan's best singers at the Ontama Carnival to be held at the Yokohama Super Arena.
